Since its only a few more weeks until Christmas comes, I wanted to start something Christmassy. Here in the Philippines, the Christmas season starts as early as September and ends at January or until we remember to finally put away our Christmas decorations. Seriously.

I don't believe in Santa Claus but that doesn't mean I can't come-up with a wish list. Some are more plausible than others, while most are just plain wishful thinking (but not completely impossible).

Wish 1: Arashi comes to the Philippines

Since Aiba once went to Manila zoo (or was it Malabon zoo?) and to Chavit Singson's private zoo (of all people why him?) and Matsujun played a half-Filipino character (still don't get why the writers chose Filipino. I have nothing against it, just curious because the plot would've been the same if he were half indonesian, malaysian, or some other south-east asian country), and Arashi held an Asian Concert Tour (going to Bangkok, Taipei and Seoul), is it wishful thinking to ask them to hold a concert here as well?

It doesn't have to be this year or next year or anytime soon. I'm aware that the country's image as a tourist destination isn't very assuring but I'm sure the situation will stable someday. There are a lot of Arashi fans here who would be willing to give anything just to see these guys and to hear them say the staple "Mabuhay! Mahal ko kayo!" and maybe eat balut or green mangoes with bagoong. I know I do. Big Korean pop stars have been here (Suju and Big Bang), we arashi fans just need to make some noise so that the big companies can pull the strings.

By then I hope I have already learned enough Japanese to understand what they are saying. Oh what I would give just to be a translator for visiting Japanese idols. *sigh*
