Last post for 2010

Happy New Year in a few Hours! Just had my fill of steak, barbecue, and baked spaghetti at my cousins'. Life is good!

2010 has been a great year with a lot of changes, major encounters, challenges, and blessings. I know that 2011 is going to be so much more awesome because it will be all His.

So this is what I'll be expecting next year:

1) A bold spirit - no more timid me! I will be confident in sharing His word. 2011 is a year of Harvest and I will be His worker! Praise the Lord!

2) My own cell group - to lead, to minister to, to be ministered with. I've been spending the past few years passing on opportunities to lead a cell group, believing I wasn't ready. But not this year. I praise God for the lives He will be entrusting in my hands.

3) No more vampire stories - I love vampires. They're my favorite mythical creatures. But ever since Stephanie Mayer turned them into sparkling fairies, and other shows started popping up (Imortal, Vampire Diaries) and dozens of other vampire books showed up, I kinda felt too overwhelmed. And the vampire myth lost its edge.

4) Eating Psychological journal articles for breakfast, lunch, and dinner - its like being a psych undergrad all over again.

5) More Arashi goodness - new albums, singles, concerts, shows, dramas, movies--whatever they're in, I'll watch it. I really hope that I will finally get to buy some Arashi merchandise. *keeping my fingers crossed*

6) learn Time Mangement - Even though I did nothing this year after I graduated, I still wasn't able to maximize the 24 hours in a day. I still cram and procrastinate. I still stay up late trying to finish whatever I could have been able to finish ten hours ago. Its a really horrible feeling, when you look back on the day/week/month and realize you haven't accomplished anything. Next year, I will make sure that I accomplish at least one relevant  task (like finish encoding a chapter or make a bible study guide for one chapter) before the day ends.

7) More releases from local Filipino Komik artists - so excited for the summer Komikon and Komikon 2011! I'm going to be broke! But for a good cause. Yey! Can't wait to get my hands on Trese 4!

8) A healthier body, kind and spirit! - Because the Lord will use me mightily and the enemy will do all that he can to stop me. Sorry, but you already lost this battle.

9) More sleepless nights - whether to cram a paper, squeeze more studying time, insomnia, late night counselling/chikahan sessions, or have a how I met your mother marathon, 2011 will bring in bigger eye luggages.

10) Grace - with all the things that will be going on my life, I will be relying on His grace alone. 24/7. And I know that His grace is sufficient. In fact it will be more than sufficient for me.

So have a Happy, Blessed, and Safe New Year!
